Welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Alexis, however nearly everyone calls me Lexi. I am a wife and mother. I have known my husband for almost half of my life and we’re high school sweethearts.
Hello or should I say, hey y’all!
here is my story.
As I mentioned, I am also a mother. I gave birth to the most beautiful little strawberry blonde, blue eyed baby girl. She is my why and reminds me everyday how special it is being her mother, she’s such a gift.
I am also a Christian. My faith and relationship with Jesus Christ is very important to me.
I was born and raised in a small town in Tennessee. After high school and then marrying my husband, a few years later he enlisted in the Marine Corps. We then moved to North Carolina and lived there for a little while. After a few years there he got orders to South Carolina and now we have settled here in the beautiful lowcountry and absolutely love it.

To tell you the truth, I randomly started showing interest in it once I started college in 2015. The thought of taking photos and learning about the artwork and creativity behind it seemed interesting to me.
My husband surprised me with my first beginner DSLR for Christmas one year and ever since I’ve been go go go with a camera in hand for nearly 7 years now.
For many years, I focused heavily on photographing weddings and couples. They were my main niche and I technically labeled myself as a wedding photographer. However, after devoting much time and many weekends to documenting weddings I changed direction after having my daughter in 2021.
After becoming a mother myself and documenting our own family, I decided that I wanted to focus more on the rawness, vulnerability and beauty of motherhood and documenting others’ families.
My love for photographing motherhood came naturally...
